I’m hungry for food, but I’m starving to be thin.
I’m hungry for a sandwhich. I love sandwiches. I’m hungry for pasta, or some French fries. Even just an orange.
I’m hungry for food.
But I’m starving to be wanted, to be loved, to be looked at and admired. I’m starving for validation and for people to say I’m pretty, not just because they have to but because they mean it. I’m starving to have the body that everyone envies, that everyone wants to have.
Which one will win out for you? Temporary hunger? Or the lasting feeling of being pretty, of having everyone want you?
